The first one is factory bumper on the euro 1gs, never really saw the second and third one...so I dunno...if you, or anyone you know is good at body work, here is a link to a killer looking front lip that uses the factory lip of a 2000ish mazda protoge, just requires some mods, started to do it on my car, but just kinda gave up on it, but it looks hella cool

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73223

sorry I couldnt be more help on the lips you posted up though

I have seen the first. It came stock with some 90 cars. I personally bought one, the first one, from a junkyard in PA. You just have to go searching at junk yards here and there. you will come across it someday. And it will bolt right up the the rs bumper. There should be holes for it in the bottom of the bumper cover.

iands72 - if you were referring to the lip I posted about, it came off of a 2001 or so mazda something-or-other, all the info is in the thread about what car it came off of...and yes it was a factory part, just some kind of sport package or something if I remeber correctly...

as far as getting the part on, it was no big deal, just drill holes that correspond with the holes on the lower support, and bolt in...

but the tricky part comes in when you try and extend the sides... you have to add around 3-5 inches to either side, the bumper is made of urethane also, so when I tried it, I kinda cut holes in it, and put matte on both sides, and let the resin soak through, and hoped that worked, but after you realize how hard it is going to be to make it match up with the factory lines of the lip, you will wanna give up, inless you are a GOD at fiberglass, and body work...

it was just too damn hard, and I didnt feel like paying for someone to do it...so it got threw in the burn pile...(got the lip for free, so it didnt really matter)

well I am no entrepreneur? but I can see if I can find a set of those. Could send several at once to someone who can distribute them over there or something...well well...I will have to see what I can come up with*S*

Well I found a front lip now and I am trying it on my talon..I also found the rear lip that came on some of the euro cars:

I am gonna try these on my car and see how it turns out...If I wont use them a user here has dibs on them but if he bails I will put it up for sale.

I think it can be made to fit the talon as well without to much work actually so...I will put it up as soon as I tried it on...If I am not to use it atleast I will have pics of how it looks on a talon ;-)Think it would look good since it lowers the rear some ..its high stock and I dont like that...Well well..we will se ehow it turns out.SHould have it home next week or so.

The front one I believe is available for the 1990 bumpers here in the US. Not sure what the part number is or anything. The problem is that the 1990 front bumper is the only one that is skinnier at the bottom than it is at the top. All of the 1991-1994 bumpers are wider at the bottom so the lip doesn't fit right.

mavisky:
Anything can be made to fit ;-) Thats my motto and I live by it*LOL*
J/K

I will try and see how it looks and how it works and what can be made..if it doesnt fit I can sell it on..simple as that. But I am the kinda guy who rather try it and find out it doesnt work then just listen to others..Not meant towards you Mavisky!

I've seen it put on 91 and later eclipses, it just leaves a gap in the front bumper which makes it look sort of like the old Erebuni fish mouth bumpers.

i wouldnt just put it there..I know how to plast and fiberglass...Just make it flush and so on..Whatever..I will try and see if it works or not..If not I can try something else. Anyways....back on topic ;-)

Well, like someone already mentioned, the lip in the very first picture appears to be the same as the 90' style bumper sold on the Eclipse and Laser with the stock lip. You can find one of those in a junk yard or find one locally if you're lucky. Or if you're really lucky, you could have one sitting in your basement. :sneaky:

The second picture is a 90' style bumper with a Seat Toledo (sold in Europe, but is same as the Jetta MK III) lip. It fits nicely, but I beleive that it leaves a small gap, since it's a 2 part lip.

The lip posted later about the Mazda Protoge lip is pretty much for the 92-94' style bumpers. I haven't seen one on a 1Ga bumper, and quite honestly I don't think it would look that good.

The rear bumper that was posted is made by a company called Vestatec from Germany. They are no longer in business and no longer manufacture the lip. It will only fit the 1Ga N/T style bumper. You can find a few on www.ebay.de every now and then.

The only reason I know so much about the lips is because I have a contact who was able to get a Vestatec rear lip and Vestatec front lip too. You think those lips are nice, you should look up the Vestatec front lip (no longer in production).

is this the vestatec lips you were talking about?

Nifty, they can be had for around $150 shipped on eBay. Might pick one of these up, if I ever put a front bumper back on my car.
