Hello all, I'm just trying to get some opinions on what to do with my exhaust. I'm planning a 3" turbo back, no cat or resonator, but I'm not sure what to do about the muffler. I can either do a straight pipe out the back, or I have a greddy evo muffler off my old car I could get welded up. I'm just not sure if I want the stealth (albeit probably louder) appearance, or go with the greddy. Will adding the muffler with no resonator or cat make the car a lot quieter, or not by much?

It will quiet it down a bit, but mainly the suppresion will just be of treble (the pingy sound from high rpms) our cars don't typically have alot of high end noise because of the turbo, but it will still quiet it down abit. Some people say adding the straight through style muffler help accencuate the lows, and of course mildly quiet down the backfires and pops our cars love to make. I personally think the car would look alot better with the muffler on it, otherwise just turn down the 3" pipe before it reachs the back of the car or else it will look a bit goofy from behind.

Thanks for the advice, I was thinking maybe a setup where I can either bolt on the downpipe back with the muffler, and having something separate where I have a short downturn pipe off of the downpipe.
