on my headlights it seems like there is dust on the inside of the lenses, but my friend told me that they are just rock chips n such on the outside... this looks really bad up close and i am wondering how i can make them clear again.... GIMMIE THE LIGHT

I have read a few things about that, you can buff them with plastic polish. You can buff them with Meguiars Metal Polish. You can wet sand them with 1600 grit wet/dry sandpaper by hand. If you wet sand them either take the lights out and sand them, or cover the bumper, QP's and open the hood while doing it.

If you use the mag polish you will have to do it every few weeks or so and it doesnt work as well as sanding. Go with the sanding/buffing for better results.

i just took apart a 2G headlight to polish and clean the inside and outside of the lens. if you need any help, let me know.
i used maguire's plastic cleaner, followed by the polish. i got 2 nice sized bottles for $10
