the only real problwm i have is that when i put the cluster back in my car the background lights in the cluster dont work. so my needles dont light up. i have checked all of the bulbs to see if they are blown and the fuse also. trying to figure out if i ruined the whole copper backing somehow but everything looks good.

if you have any suggestions to check please let me know. i really miss my baby. especially since i just ditched my GF and now the talon is the only girl in my life. hey it was one or the other...... sad say the talon got my heart racing more than the GF.

a little update for you all. i feel as though i have an I.Q. of about 4 right now.....

the whole problem was that when i was putting the gauges back in the car the background/needle lights werent comeing on. i sat in my car staring at the console today, turning the lights on and off repeatedly in a weak effort to overpower the electrical system with jedi mind tricks. all of a sudden it hits me......
since i didnt reinstall the front trim piece yet i hadnt connected the original dimmer switch for the instrument panel..... leaving the lighting circut with a huge gaping hole in it. no wonder none of the lights were coming on......
upon installation of the dimmer switch the entire cluster began to function normally while i proceeded to cuss myself royally.

if anyone else installs these please make sure to correctly hookup all switchs relating to the circut, it will save you many nights of hard drinking.. i mean thinking.

thank you have a nice day.
