Opinions on 2Gb bumper paint

Alrighty, my 2Gb bumper finally got here, and should go in for paint as soon as this weather clears up in Seattle...

While it was on it's way, I thought about how I would want it to be painted. Since I'm leaving the 2Ga sides/rear on because I love the silver trim, I'm for sure going to have a silver trim painted onto the new bumper. However, I thought I knew what I was going to do with that "lip" in the center opening, but after browsing around the image gallery, I really don't know.

Should I paint it white with the rest of the bumper? Or black? Or maybe the same silver as the trim? Just looking for opinions... thanks!

Some pictures with the old bumper so you can see the car at least...

You might try PMing greyforestgst. I think he did the conversion and did what you said, painting the bottom grey.

You'll get away with the silver trim look.

And btw here are some pics of GreyforestGST's car for inspiration. I'm sure you'll know how to do this on your own.

JEEZ I've been looking for that car to see how he did his. (ironically I bought the same headlights as he did...)

But yeah I'm definitely having the bottom painted gray. I have just been toying with various ideas to make it a little more unique. Just trying to get a little special touch to it to make it different than other people's cars (half the reason why I'm keeping the silver trim... seems that most people ditch it with 97-99 conversions).

Hmmm.... thanks for finding pictures of that car though. That should help me decide what I want to do....
