Will 1998 GS bumpers/sideskirts fit on all other 2G's?

I need original bumpers and sideskirts for my 1998 Eclipse GS.

1. From what models could i take them from? Are there big differences between them? (it does not matter how bad it looks, as long as it fits ok).

2. Where are all the original body kits left when you buy the aftermarket ones? Searched ebay and couldn't find a single one. Also searched the classifieds here and couldn't really find something.

3. Do you think there would be any problem to remove my aftermarket body-kit and mount the factory? I didn't mount the aftermarket my self - do you usually need to modify the car in any way to make an aftermarket body kit fit? (which could cause problems when mounting the original again?).

95-96 are 2GA early style.

97-99 are what you need, 2GB later style.

Any 97-99 should match your original body, even 95-96 will fit but it's not what you had before.

As for the body kit, as long as it was not molded you should have no problems. If it is, I have no clue how to remove it, unless you just chop it off or something.

I wonder the same thing. People snatch them up pretty quick. If someone would make molds of the stock pieces and start making urethane or fiberglass ones, theyd be set for life.

I agree with Absolute, the stockers are way better than any aftermarket pieces in my opinion.

For me i kept the stock body kit just incase something was to go wrong. but i hear the 95-96 will not bolt up because the headlights are different

The front bumper wont fit the headlight contour. I guess it WOULD fit, but itd look a lil funky.

the 97 front bumper with 95 headlights will cover the headlights in the front... 95 headlights are longer than 97 ones so a swap of matching front bumper to headlights would be better
