He works on Mitsu for a liveing, he is not going to listin to me.

He should know then that without the return tube on the intake capped off he is pulling in un metered air and possibly debris from the air. Would hate to trash a turbo / motor or both from something dumb like that.

The intake is capped off.
The intercooler, I have know idea.
Not sure what he cut it with, but I didn't even see it till I looked at the pic.

Also did he locate teh battery in the trunk? Or is just out?

Yes the batt is in the trunk, and he has an HKS BOV so there is no hose to hook up to.
