ProSport Gauges

I recently picked up a set of ProSport gauges, from MachV, and I must say, they look wonderful. I just finished up the lighting wiring tonight, tommorow I'll run the boost lines, EGT wiring and oil pressure wiring. The Amber color matches the stock interior lighting pretty much perfectly.

Lights off (yeah they're smudged, i'll clean em up later:

Red mode:

Amber, to match the rest of the interior lighting:

Sorry about the quality of the pics, it was a 15 sec job--- the red is actually a deeper red than the pics show, it is pretty much the same red as the STi gauges, and the amber is less yellow than it looks. The gauges will also light up a bright white, if desired.

I like those. I like the red lighting.
Let us know how accurate they are (i.e. boost gauge) and if the smoked lens is easy enough to see during the day (when on of course).
I have some AC autotechnics S7 Invisions and their pretty accurate, they're blacked out when the car is off too.

Boost gauge is more accurate than my autometer, at least at low boost (14psi)...we'll see how accurate it stays as boost pressure is increased.

Hey EclipseSH21, the site states the colors blue, amber/white with red colored needles for all of them (except the digital ones of course). You've clearly have red lights in the second pic, lol. Was red even an option and how do you switch the colors? I'm going with red LED lighting on the dash cluster and since I've got the cluster gauge bezel, it would be cool to match the color scheme up.

They aren't pricey at all. $40 for all but the EGT gauge was the highest at $99. http://www.machv.com/prosportgauges.html

Yeah I was just gonna say I paid $32 for my boost gauge directly from prosportgagues.com. And I can see my boost gauge great during the day when they're on of course.

I've just ordered some through Prosport also. Man, their electronic boost gauge is hard to get a hold of! I just happen to get lucky, that and Glenn told me they had some in stock at the time, lol. I also got their EGT gauge. I seen these gauges in my buddies Subie and thought they looked good, not to mention that the gauge lighting was pretty bright during the day.

It looks like you've got them wired up for the red lighting, is that correct? My buddy said that it's easier to see them if they are wired up for white during the day and it's default amber color with the lights on.

and at night lit up in amber

Semprini,
I don't even see pics anymore, lol.

Wow those gauges look pretty great for the price. Everyone with them is happy with the accuracy? If everything seems good, I'm going to get these, I want something good, but I don't want to spend a lot of money.

i have them in my GLHT too. only problem is if your not looking directly into them... they are hard to read due to the rounded glass on front. otherwise, they are fine. i'm taking them out of my GLH for some autometers, my friend is buying them for his 1G AWD though.

Well, I finally got mine in. They look great and they are a lot easier to read than my old ones (AC Autotechnics S7 Invisions). I bought an EGT and electronic boost gauge. The electronic boost gauge was pretty simple to wire up too (for those who may wonder). I'll have pics tomorrow.
Oh yeah, the amber color is a dark(?) amber, it's almost red, so it matches my red LED instrument cluster lighting too.
Now if I can only figure out a way to change the blue backlighting of the Greddy FATT to red, I'd be set.

Happy Holidays everyone
