Weighted shift knob

I thought I would pass this on, for those who might be interested
After having had the opportunity to handle and inspect both the "weighted" high performance shift knob sold by some speed shops and the 2g one I just purchased through my local dealer I came to the realization that they where indeed the same knob.
So for those of you who are interested the part number is.

How much did you pay though. Most venders that sell the weighted 2g knob state that it is in fact an OEM 2g knob.

My intent was only to enlighten as to the fact the two where one in the same, only because it came as quite a surprise to me, and I had not seen it sold in the manner you say some do.

That is a big rip off then, if the 2G shift knob is a "weighted" shift knob already... I would sue for false advertising or something...
