Vacuum removal


Please excuse my silly question, but what should I use for plugs? Where do I get them?
Thank you.

The plugs are actually what's called a vacuum cap. Most, if not all autopart stores should carry them.

If you need additional vacuum hose and wish to switch from the factory lines, RRE carries what's called "The Larson Silicone Hose Kit". For $40, it comes pretty complete with more than enough hose for your engine bay.

Or use one size too small and spray some hairspray on the inside of the cap and slip it on the nipple your trying to cover, the hairspray acts as a lubricant to help slide the too small cap onto the nipple, and when it dries it dries tacky and acts like a glue to further help keep it from popping off.

This description sounds so wrong.
