Also looking for a picture of a silver GST spyder that was converted to a awd drivetrain. Dont know if it was the RRE one or not but if someone has photos of it or knows what im talking about please help it has the nicest bay ive ever seenOMG .

As of now plan does include removing ABS, COP's, and fuse box will going to glove box but Im stuck there

This is where I am at as of now (without coolant overflow bottle)

Well, I actually think that bay already looks sweet... but a side question for you, where is your MAF? I dont see a GM or the stock 1g.. Just curious..

As for cleanliness... JET HOT COATING!! I would get the manifold jet hot coated for sure. It looks so nice with that satin silver look after its done. But, I thin its looking pretty darn good. What makes a nice bay is a color-coordinated theme, and I dont mean when people put in ### colored hoses, or colored wire loom, but a polished or bead blasted look, etc... The problem with polished looks is keeping the polish from getting tarnished from degreasers etc.

Match all vacuum hosing the same color.

Polished Coolant overflow (had to put that)

Match fuel rail to valve cover

If feasable: Drill holes in fire wall/grommet for master cylinder hoses and harness, mount possibly "custom" master cylinder under wiper cowl? Got the idea from the angle of the pic.

Paint/coat power steering line bracket or remove system.

Heat Wrap header. They make black.

Weld up holes in unibody/firewall and paint. Mine are annoying to me, I haven't taken the time to do this yet.

Then turn your oil cap so it says 710 and make that contradict your whole engine bay .ROFL Pretty clean allready. :thumb:

Do everyone a favor and fill out your profile too. thanks

I will most likely get flamed for this but if you don't autoX you could always get rid of the power steering. Removing it cleans the bay up alot. There is a post on this site somewhere where a guy ran his car on a dyno with his ps, then removed it and gained 15 whp. I did it myself and find the steering isn't bad at all. Nothing feels better than a manual rack at high speeds, but tight city driving blows ass.

thanks for the advice probably will remove ps or go manual rack.

-Vacuum line is all Aeroquip non- collapseable hose and its just a single line(just about) just need to run it different.
-Tried ceramic coating on the manifold but just melted away so Im just going to wrap it and coat the wrap. Garbage SFP's cracked welds again even with bracing so looks like ill be doing it sooner than expected.
-gonna strip off that ugly gold paint on the fuel rail and radiator brackets too (old owner)
-also need to make a new intercooler pipe and mount the iat bung on the bottom ( shop I took it to mounted it on the top)
-found a nice coolant resevoir over flow tank in a Summit mag so im gonna buy one of those along with their catch can. There not as big and bulky as the Greddy one(on it when I bought the car)

also found that picture so itll look close to this

In the process of doing this myself. Removing AC and cruise made a huge difference. Battery relocate another huge difference. Next is PS.

Move your MBC much closer to the turbo. Not only does it clean things up but it provides a quicker and more accurate response. Run it off the lower IC pipe instead of the manifold (that's how you have it now I take it).
