remote door locker/unlocker

i had an audio place do mine last weekend. i have a remote starter with the unlock and lock button so i just had them install the motors and wiriing it costs 20 bucks for the motors and like 40 for installation.

im not to sure but they probably add a whoping 10-20 at the most if that lbs, which isnt much seeing as how you could eat alot of food and gain that so who cares.

10-20lb... hahahahahah. Probably closer to like 3. 1 receiver, 2 door lock motors. A bit of wiring.

yeah i know i was just saying at the most it would ever add , they dont weight alot at all if someone is so concerned about 5 lbs they should be on a very strict diet haha

actually its probably closer to 1 lb. if that.

if you get the cheaper ones, they are made all out of plastic.

the more expensive are made from aluminum.

heh, still every bit counts, I used to have a 67 mustang, good old american steel car, with me int he drivers seat and a full take of gas it weighed in at 2750 pounds(with the spare tire, jack and toolbox), I have to ask why it was so light, after all it had a ton more steel than my eclipse does and my eclipse weighs in at more with me in the drivers seat and a full tank of gas, I personally think its all this wiring that weighs, but I really still havent figured it out, heck I dont even want power windows or locks and I'm going to chuck my A/C system out entirely when it gets warmer, after all I heard somehwere(dont know whether its vaild or not) that every 100 lbs saved is worth the equivalent of 20 HP

I wouldn't pay more than $25 for both motors and $40 for the brain if it only throws the motors and does nothing else.

Every 100lbs saved can equal roughly .1 off your quartermile or some ish like that I don't know I like the commodities my car has.
