I didn't think it was that difficult in the first place.

I think I just might get the ams shift knob. It has a stock look and it is leather.

But is it like the 93 94 leather stock shift knob. I dont like that one because it feels big.

To be honest I like early 90s honda accord leather shift knobs.

+1 for the AMS knob. Just replaced the crappy carbon fiber one that came with my Galant and I love it.

Stock 2G is awesome. Looks factory and is weighted nicely. Metal shifters suck in hot weather, I've had one before it wasn't goodtimes

The one on my car is off an 88 corolla. Better than the 1g shifter by far.

Can you take some pics of it? My stock 2G one is starting to wear and I've been looking for a replacement. Mach V's "2G" one just doesn't look right to me..

My buddy has a Momo one similar to the Ichabon, I like the way it feels. Another friend made me a shift knob out of an eight ball, cooler looks than practicality, it feels numb.

I recommend the Greddy counterweight or the good ol' 2g leather knob.

yup i just finally replaced my 2g shift knob (at least thats what i think it was) and it was pretty light, nice leather and short throw.

I just put this one in
OEM Heavy Leather Shift Knob
Its a little taller, a lot heavier, and it feels like it shifts a lot better than the 2g for some reason. Looks great in a 1g and its a pretty good height. Not too expensive either.

I love my EVO 8 knob, it's light & small, feels good, and looks factory.

I've tried several different type of shift knobs, but I always go back with the stock 2g leather.

When it's not leather it gets slippery, and way too hot when parked outside on hot days.

The only shift knob I know i will switch to and actually keep would be from the EVOs.
