Back seat Spyder Cover Mod? Tonneau [Merged 1-7]

i was wondering. You know how the mustangs have those cool Tonneau Cover over the back seat. DOes anyone make them for the eclipse i have a 2g. thanks guys

they are all custom made for the car but you can get on for a mustang and do a little work on it and it will fit our cars better that way than spend over a grand to have one made when you can get the mustang on for 400 and make it fit and it is also in two pices for better storage

it would be for a 94-98 sallean drop top to find on just pick up a 5.0 mustang mag and there are a lot of places that sell them I can rember exactly who but that mag is great for the car i used it alot when I built up a stang for a customer

I own a 98 spyder.I have installed a convertible boot and i also custom made a back seat cover.Made out of ply wood/black leater and insolite.IThe apperance is smooth looking.But i have been tring to look for a one piece fiberglass cover that goes over the backseat and ragtop when it is down.Kazetech.net has a speedster cover,but that does not look natural looking.Please post any web sites/shops/or phone numbers.

I also wanted to remove the useless sunvisors on my spyder.And install after market gauges.Will the gauges work properly or do they have to be placed on the dash /a-pillar.

about the gauges, they will work fine anywhere you put them as long as no lines or wires are damaged, kinked or frayed.

I have thought about makeing a flexible riging that would bolt where my visors used to be to hold 3 extra gauges however I wanted them..

as to your main question, maybe someone else can help there.

i am goign to build a full tunneau cover ot of carbon fbe for my car let me know if you want a fiberglass one or soemthign but they are gonna be pricey I have a carbon fiber trunk lid too

Kazetech is the only place I know of that makes something like that. And useless sunvisors?? Maybe when the top is down....but I use mine all the time when the top is up (which is the majority of the time).

anyways I am close to buying my first Eclipse.. its a 97 GS Spyder and when I looked at he never had that piece. Maybe he did, I just never asked. What is that piece called and if he doesnt have it, is it hard to get one?

For some reason I called THE BOOT or DROPTOP COVER I dont know why i just do. Also your might want to consider a GST Spyder because boost is fun

Yeah you can try ebay. I've seen them go on there before. When you find a place ask them how much if 2 people buy them. If they wanna give a discount or something. I've pondered on getting one.

I didnt even know there was a thread about this going on.

I dont know why cucumber has a beef with me by making comments like he has 50 user names... we went over this years ago. I have / had two. Burn_ and_ peel and.... GSTSPYDERMAN. I had the GSTSPYDERMAN before I did anything to the car.

2 is far less than 50 but regarless. I have them for sale and you can call me anytime on my cell. 513 289 5665. That number does work. I have had it for 7 years. We moved from the shop we had to a different location so the number you had wouldnt work. I appologize for taking so long to get to this. I havent been out on the site in so long. Just been busy with work.

I have those sitting in a warehouse that I can get to you right away. I also have a few different designs to work from.

I think the website was www.kazetech.com or something like that. I had looked into them before. I wanted one in black. and it was like 350 plus 190 shipping plus another 100 to paint it or something. I had never ordered it. They were doing a sale for $300 but after the shipping cost it was still to expensive. It has only been $300 I would have ordered it. Also, I think the person I was talking to wasn't very friendly. Very short w/ me and kind of rude. It was all through e-mail so it might have just been the way they came across.

Do you want it made of carbon fiber or just have a carbon fiber laminate? Either way the answer is yes the variable is how much and how fast.

I can do anything all it takes is money.
