there are some things I like about the aftermarket tailights, well make that one thing, I like the fact that they are round, I dont care for the the clear or carbon fiber parts though, I've seen the ferrari conversion(1 gen) and that looks very good, but its overdone. Now I'll come to the point, the other day I saw this honda kid, he had the usual altezza tailights but he had something else as well, he had some custom round tail lights added to it(I asked him about it and he said he had them custom made to look a bit different from the crowd) now I was wondering where I can just get some round tail lights to make my own custom look, I was just thinking about taking them from a junkyard somewhere, finding some car with round tailights and molding them into a custom made panel or something but I found I had a problem, there are only a few cars that I can think of that have round tail lights that I can find in a junkyard, most of them being old chevy's and those arent too common in a junkyard, besides the lenses would most likely be cracked, so I was wondering if anyone simply new of a website with some good looking round tailights that arent attached to anything(he he, I'll check out my summit catalog too, just thought of that) sorry for the long post, I tend to yap on and on about things, anyway thanks

I might just be stupid but I guess I don't really know what your talking about. Do you have a pic that you could just color in on what you want so people could get a better idea of what you want? Otherwise I don't know what round tail lights would work.

I think this might be what you are referring to kinda....

There you have a set of clear round lights that came from a VW Beetle that he put together... I am not saying it looks good or bad..just giving you a thought...
This is how it turned out on his extremely rebuilt 300ZXtt

ok there you go, theres an example of some tailights and originality(although I think he put one or two too many on either side), VW beetle hmm? that would work, easy enough to find, but any round tail light assembly that lies flat could be molded into a pice of metal shaped like a tailight assembly and come up with an effect like that(I think I'd like a deeper red color too though)

classic chevys used round tails, might look interesting but they arent flush (at all) another place to check would be any large truck stop, i know that sounds wierd but the truck stop near the racetrack sells all manner of lights in all kinds of colors for big rigs, they are all 12 volts and most mount flush as they are designed to mount into just a hole in the trailer
