oxidizing roof!!!

anyway to cure a oxidizing roof any treatments you guys may have used or recamend?

Yep, that's pretty much all you can once it oxidizes.

is it the clearcoat or the basecoat?

Maaco should paint it for $200 or maybe less. Just happens with age and the sun ultraviolet rays.

you can wax it but that is only a temp fix and will look bad if it is severely oxidized....i'd get the whole car a new paint job if plan to keep the car for a while

damn i feared that ,well its had some paint done due to a accident so i may just do the roof so you say 200 dolar job huh well shouldnt be that bad , looks like the clearcoat, but its jus started to get noticable i can do wit it till i get some extra cash flo

The sun is kind of hard on cars in Florida, but it is still better than the winters here in Cleveland.

Maaco, , i would just spend the extra money and have a good body shop do it

That's what I'm thinking too. Unless you want to have it repainted again next year.
