Need help Carbon Fiber mirrors

Well i got a set of ebay and went to take my old ones of (its a 98 gsx) and when i unbolted my old ones the new ones came with this black piece and the carbon fiber mirror just pushes into it and then you are supose to bolt it up to the car but i cant seem to find a way to bolt it up any one else have any troubles putting these on?? Thanks it just seems that that black piece is to large for my door?

You might have to take the rubber around the mirrors above to make your black piece fit.
 
I order a set off ebay they didn't fit at all so I sold them to a guy with a honda. As nice as they are I hated doing it but I wasn't about to fight like crazey to get them to fit.
 
raceonusa.com has CF fenders for our cars.. 2g at least they run like $470 a pair
 
Ya i have carbon fiber wheels carbon fiber hood c/f tails so i thought the mirrors would look good too!
