Competitive DSM's in Missouri

I just wanted to post a few pics of some of the DSM's in Sedalia because it is pretty competitive around here, and see if anyone had any comments. We have Megans eclipse that is orange in the picture but it is currently pink and she has put a lot of money into it!! She had been in Sport Compact, Auto Sound, and a few other magazines. I will attach a link below of the car when it was orange with decals. Her husbands brother drives a 2gen eclipse which is painted green like the fast and furious eclipse and has big chrome wheels, and I cant remember what body kit it has.

We also have Chad who drives a black eclipse and is president of the Twisted Suspension Car club down here and he has had his for a long time and has also put a lot of money into his but strictly for show. Chucky who is in the group drives a yellow tsi talon turbo that fades to white. And Robert who is also in the group drives a green eclipse with full yellow custom interior including all seats and everything and tvs in the headrest. I have not had my car for as long as any of them but I am planning on workin on the engine and performance first. Currently I think i am faster than all of them except the tsi turbo but I should be faster than him by May.....(Hahn Stage II)

Hey my game i live in sedalia, and i got a 90talon Tsi. The motor is pretty trick. Now the looks arent to great but it looks good.There is lots of DSM's in sedalia and that is what i like to see. But im not sure of who you are exactly?? hit me up sometime.

I'll almost never diss a car that's been m`odified. But the graphics on that orange car are fugly. That is just awful. I like the orange w/white wheels. Interesting not to spring for new wheels with custom paint and body kit... whatever. That yellow/white Talon's pretty tight.

yellow everyone hated the orange with graphics but she has had it painted probably 4 or 5 times. It is just like a barbie pink now and looks a lot better. That was when she started getting the magazine coverage. I do remember when it was orange it had air bags and that was pretty tight. Yeah I like the yellow talon but I like the black eclipse in the group a little more.

Hondaeater- I used to have a blitz body kit and now my eclipse looks like all the other 2g's bumper wise but I kept the sideskirts, and license plate that says MY GAME. Yours dosent have to look good because it is fast. I think out of all of the 2G's around here I am the only one that is actually makin mine fast first, then when I do put on a body kit it will be a widebody kit.

What do you all think about those trucks on airbags in twisted suspension. They have some pretty nice rides, they have been trying to get me in the group for a while but I just decided to stick to a group that is pushing performance and the track hard....

Yea, mine it prolly TO fast for me since im only 16 but hey you only live once! Ya the TS trucks with bags are awesome i give them mad props. I think you should get in to Twisted. I have lot of friends that are in there and hopefully ill be in there too. What color is your car My Game? Give me a private message on whats your name if you want.

my name is brandon. You can check out my car in my photo gallery just click on my name. It is white. I would get in twisted but the president drives a eclipse. We are way too competitive for me to be in the club but be below him. I know you remember there was also Royal Ryders who also wanted me and was another BIG car club but Meagan was the president of that one (pink eclipse) so I guess the DSM's rule around here. I am going to be in Redline Performance which with Joe and AJ (Honda Civic, and Honda Prelude). We are gonna be racing at KCIR in May after I get my turbo kit. Send me a email sometime.

Yeah I know, they have all had their dsm's for years and I just got mine but I have always wanted one. Hopefully I will catch them at least on the performance side. By the way poppoff you have a really nice ride I was looking at your gallery all night last night.

Oh okay I know who you are now My Game. I have seen that prelude and it is really sharp looking. Is redline preformance a car club or what is it? You dont think Joe would help me with work with my TSi do ya?

My_Game, your car will have an advantage to the others. It will be fast and hooked up. Just keep working on it. I liked Robert's eclipse with the yellow graphics/dark green paint and rims. You can compete with him and Chad's 95 Eclipse with the nice 18 inch KMC Evolution's.

Everybody has different objectives when doing a car and different budgets. Where I live mostly people fix up the style of car first and maybe later do performance mods. With a newer car 2nd Generation DSM I personally would go the performance route first body mods second route. With my car now I just want it to look sweet with a body kit and be unique. airpopoff-anytime man that front mount looks sweet... cant wait to get mine when I go turbo. I always wanted a 2g black eclipse or silver one but had to settle for white.

hondaeater- do you know joe? Have you seen his super civic? Man that thing is sweet with at least 20 grand put into it. Yeah he could help you out. I think he is opening his shop up soon maybe.... if he does he can help you out he owns like 3 or 4 first gen. talons his self. He might name the shop something different from redline this time so other people can still come and be associated with it. I dont want to use the word car club because I think of twisted and royal ryders with show cars, but we are basically a team that is pushing performance hard.

JJay- Thanks man. About the green eclipse it used to look better. It didnt have the yellow graphics on the side it just had the body kit with FULL yellow interior and z3 fenders and everything and then the kid sold it to a dealership and I guess Robert bought it like that. Basically all the work had already been done to it and dealership just threw some graphics on it and a yellow sustrip and priced it up. Chad is the real competion as far as show even though he does not have any magazine coverage yet I love his eclipse. I like push performance first in my car because I think the 2G already looks sweet so until you can pay attention to it it will do. I think Chad used to try to make his fast but then blew so many trannys and stuff that he gave up and went straight for show. His speakers are hitting 151db i believe in that little eclipse. All I can say is one day.. One day.....

No, I dont know joe but i hear about him. I have seen his civic but not under the hood or anything. But do you think joe would sell some parts for those old 1g's sittin back there? cuz i could use some parts here and there to make it loook a lil better. Ya, I hope he does get that shop open i think he could make some serious money since he knows alot about imports. Ya just talk to joe for me and see if i cant get some parts and maybe some help from him. Ah #@%#@%#@%#@% i really need a job! is arbys hiring?

I didnt know chad has gone threw trannys like that. He has never said anything about that. I just got back with hangin with chad a lil bit and he said he put in racing seats in his car. cant wait to seem them in there. Yea he is for more show i think b/c he thinks his car is slower then sh*t but i know it cant be that slow so maybe if we encourage him he might switch over to preformance! that would be pretty cool but i think he likes looks ne way but that is cool bothways.

I will talk to joe, we have to see what pieces I can use also... Yeah the civic is crazy fast and so hooked up its not funny. I just talked to him not to long ago and he was in the shop getting stuff ready. The name of it is going to be Midwest Imports and the racing team is gonna be redline performance.

Cahd got the seats?!?! I have been telling him about how I was getting mine and he never told me anything about getting some. Yeah He has went through some trannys he wont try to make it fast trust me. He has the sweet comptition system weighing him (3JL W6's) and then he also has those Chrome 18 inch wheels. Speed hates those two words, Chrome and 18's. haha but yeah it is really sweet and I am thinking I can gain on him when I do put a kit on and go Widebody instead of regular ones.
