S-AFC Mounting?

Yeah , Id like to see some pics of where some of you guys have mounted them too . Mine is on Its way , and I have no clue as to where I am going to mount It. Ive seen the center vent pods , but I would like to leave those there , Im a big fan of airconditioning in the summer.

pretty much cut the shape of the afc out into the visor (not all the way, there still was backing on it) made some brackets, double sided sticky tape, and whola!
I ran the wires down the a-trim, then behind the dash to the ecu. Only thing that sucked was the wires were about 1 ft short so I had to extend all of them.

I liked it there, out of sight and out of the way, but then again it kind of got distracting when in use and driving.

mines above the AC vents, the longer part of the stand is wedged between the AC vent plastic and the dash plastic. The AFC hangs low enough to cover the never used Hazzard button but its still high enough to be eye level for ease of use. Plus since its there, all the wiring is hidden behind the AC vents.

I'll snap pix when I feel like it.

i saw something in import tuner where they built a panel for the glove box... that way you coudl kkep your friends from messing with it.

Hiding it from prying eyes is probably a good thing, if you can get by
without it being visible. Haven't used one yet so I can't say whether
that's necessary.

I'm in the process of installing one in my Laser. Not sure how applicable
this might be to 2Gs since the dome light is different. I've made a
bracket from sheet metal which fits between the dome light and its
mounting point in the ceiling. The arrow points at a little notch in the
headliner that I had to cut out for access to one of the mounting screws,
but it's small enough that I could put the dome light back to stock and
the notch would still be covered up.

I expect that with the mirror shifted to its lowest position, the SAFC will
only block about the top 20% of the view.
