I've searched but am unable to find what I need to pick a speaker for my door. I would like a solid speaker all around. I am looking for a speaker that would be at most 120 for 2. What speakers would you recommend? Also what specific things should I look for when looking at speakers?

I have a completely stock infinity sound system with amp and cd changer.

Best advise would be to go to some local audio shops & listen to the speakers that are in your price range. Everyones hearing is a little different so what one person may think sounds great might not be the same for someone else. Judge by what your ears hear and not just price. I would get something with a rubber surrond, which most should have in that price range. Personally I really like Infinty, good base response (because of their plus sized cones) which help out if your not running a sub & excellent sounding highs with a directional tweeter (able to rotate the tweeter to direct the sound to the listening position).

references have always treated me kindly.. and when you're in such a low price range you aren't going to exactly get something insanely great.

or dish out 30 bucks over your price cap and get a nice set of kappa's. Infinity speakers are honestly the best bang for the buck.

EBAY -- search "trading circuit" in titles and descriptions -- find some Infinity or Alpine components there. They sell Circuit City's returned items. Most of that crap works well. Thats how i got my system for like 100 bucks. 6.5 components, 6x9, and 4 channel amp.

I have always went with rockford compnents, i have the 6.5 and 6x9's in my 90 eclipse now and they are great, never distort....

Infinity kappas in the back and infinity kappa component system in the front. I think these are the best sounding speakers on the market. If you find a set of speakers you want go to www.pricegrabber.com and search for them. This site rocks on finding the cheapest vender and its always new.

i got a pair of audiobahn dub series 6.5's for pretty cheap and i love them. carbon fiber cones so they can handle decent bass for their size and really good tweeters too

For highs and mids I would go with Infinity Kappa or Polk Audio..

I've always been a fan of eclipse speakers. I picked up 6.5" for i think 130. Definately some nice sounding speakers. I had those up front and the 6x9's in the back in my old talon and they sounded so sweet even before i got an external amp for them.
