Which color?

I'm getting my car painted in a few weeks. I have narrowed it down to white or black. I'm going to be getting black Konig Imagines to put on it too. I have blue undercar neon(ricey, i know), but should I go with black rims/white paintjob or black rims/black paintjob? I like white just cause it looks really clean and nice. Also, I never really saw a 2g without a spoiler, I was thinking about taking mine off to see what it looked like, but I don't want to go through the hassle if it isn't going to look good. Could anyone find me some pics of 2g's without a spoiler that look good?

Ick... mine is white for now - it just gets dirty quicker. Nothing is more dead sexy than a black 2G Eclipse though; well except maybe a silver 2G Eclipse (that's what I want to paint mine).

Dont get black, both of my eclipses have been black, I wish I could have picked them up in any other color basically. Its such a bi*** to keep clean. White is one of the easiest colors to keep clean.

Black does look the best clean though, but the minute your move the car is dirty.

Whoever said that white is the easiest to clean is full of crap...when my talon was white it always looked dirty. The only advantage to white over black is that dings and scratches don't show as much..but dirt is amplified 10 fold.

Black shows dents and water spots better, but I don't think dirt shows up as well on black.

Black if you get a good paint job, white if you are going a ghetto route such as Maaco.

I agree^^ I had a VW that was black and I had to clean that thing everyday, go with white Like everyone said you can't see dings or marks in it at all

my laser came factory silver, doesn't really show grime too bad and looks great! throw some 'sparkle' chips in and you'll end up with one hot paint job!

White also starts to yellow....I can't tell you how many eclipses I've seen where the front end is a different shade of white from the rest of the car.

personally i think that the metallic blue with the black wheels and a polished lip with dark tinted windows would look great. its the best of both worlds, wont show dirt too well but also will not show swirl marks as much. also red it just a cop magnet. my car is black and i agree with everthing everyone says about it staying dirty but looking damn good when waxed.

Don't worry about the paint yellowing, you most likely will not own the car when and if it does that Go with the black rims they make white cars look badass

Heyman use your amagination on your car surely you can come up with something better than white or black.But if your set on those colors only i would defenitly go with black yeah its harder to keep clean but when it is clean i bet you'll get twice the looks.

I didn't even read any other post in this thread, But... I think white is the best stock color out there for the 2g eclipse. And, I'm not just saying that because I have a white eclipse.. That is just a coincidence, As I had one in basically every color already.

I personally love Black paint, even if it is a bi*** to keep clean. When it has been washed thoroughly, looks like glass. But personally I like the white paint job with black rims better than black/black. If i had a white car, i would definately get black rims with a chrome lip

honestly the hottest colour is on my talon...its almost like a Jaguar Racing Green at night it looks black, and i have a blue underglow as well
just compliments the shape of the car
its Back on top and Dark green on bottom, very sexy (so the girls say)
