Ok I searched for over an hour and couldn't find a thread giving the mitsu. part number for the left and right 2gb foglight bezel. I am putting the 97 eclipse front bumper on my talon and the mitsu dealer here won't even talk to you without an appropriate eclipse VIN, so the chrysler dealer, which is also used car says they can get some mitsu parts but I have to provide the part number. So if someone could point me to a link of the part number or give me the number that'd be great, thanks.

If this is what you mean then its MR296028 for the right and MR296027 for the left.

EDIT: Sorry, I use a Mac and cant seem to do attachments. But if you mean the black trim pieces attached to the outer bumper then those are the part numbers.

I have checked a couple of part sites with those numbers and they say nothing is found  I will try to get to the dealership and ask them soon. And with the way plastic ages I would rather just buy new ones especially when people say they are only like $15 each, plus the junkyards around here don't have crap for eclipses, good suggestion though. Anyone have different part numbers? And yes I am talking about the black pieces that go around the foglights in the 97-99 oem front bumpers.

OK well I finally got the parts I needed. the bezel part numbers are MD296097 and MR296098, the mounting brackets behind the foglights are MB882371 and MB882372 and I finally got a guy at the mitsu dealership who is cool and helped me out alot. good luck in whoever uses this information.

I have been trying to source a passenger side foglight bezel for my black '98 Eclipse GSX with gray leather interior. Also, I have been looking for an interior cargo cover with cords for the rear hatch area. I posted some WTB ads on smaller forums, but no luck. I recently came across "Mitsubishi Parts" | Online Parts & Accessories Catalog and figured it might be better to just buy new from there. But having some trouble doing so.

For the foglight bezel, I need the passenger side black plastic piece that fills the area between the oem foglight and bumper. I cannot decipher which part I need from the diagram on the webpage. I assume I need "25) Fog lamp opening W/fog lamp Right". Can someone please check the attached image and tell me if that is the correct part? Any other part that I should get to complete the install while I am ordering?

1) Bumper cover 2) Upper retainer Center 3) Upper retainer Side
4) Upper retainer End Right 5) Bumper cover Lower retainer 6) Retainer clip Short
7) Retainer clip Long 8) Pad Back 9) Pad Grommet
10) Reinforcement 11) Bumper bracket 12) Cushion
13) Emblem 14) License bracket 15) License bracket Support
16) License bracket Brace 17) License bracket Grommet 18) Mount plate
19) Mount plate Retainer 20) Air inlet cover Right 21) Air inlet cover Clip
22) Cover cap Type 1 23) Cover cap Type 2 24) Fog lamp opening W/o fog lamps Right
25) Fog lamp opening W/fog lamp Right 26) Bezel Screw

For the cargo cover, I need a gray cover with cords to cover the trunk area. The molded one that lifts and closes with the trunk. According to description, I would think that I need "16) Cover Gray", but the price/pic do not look right (only $3.42 and looks like a bracket). Again, can someone verify the part I need from the attachment, as well as, any additional parts to complete the install. Thanks in advance.

1) Trunk lid W/o spoiler 2) Trunk lid Bumper 3) Weatherstrip
4) Latch W/o keyless entry 5) Latch Screw 6) Latch Screw

16) Cover Gray 17) Release cable 18) Lock cylinder W/o keyless entry
19) Lock cylinder Retainer 20) Lock switch W/keyless entry

Passenger side fog light cover (comes with screw and clip): MR296098 - $14.10
Interior cargo cover (the picture I have shows it comes with the cords): MR729565 - $123.70
Push tabs that hold cords for cargo cover to hatch panels (you need 2): MR189485 - $0.49 each.

Yes, the fog light cover is 25 in your picture.
And the second picture looks to be for a Spyder.

Thanks for the quick response Eric. I knew that last pic was all wrong. It's $118.75 for it though! Too bad I can't track down a used one. Really too lazy to go to the bone yard. Will probably wait till after the holidays for that then.

Found the correct pic on the website and attached it for reference for future searches. "8) Rear cover Gray"

1) W/o spoiler Gray 2) Clip Clip Right 3) Clip Clip Left
4) Hook Gray 5) Gray Gray Right 6) Gray Gray Left
7) Upper trim Gray 8) Rear cover Gray 9) Support Support Back
10) Damper Damper Back

EDIT: Would parts 9) Support Support Back and 10) Damper Damper Back, be necessary for the install?

If you have no cover at all now, then you will need 9 and 10. 9 is the part that the cover pivots on when the trunk is opened. 10 goes on top of the cover and cushions it from the trunk, I guess so it doesn't rattle around too much. You will need 2 of each part, one for each side.

I do not have a cover now, nor do I have the foglight bezel. Just to update, I will need these parts in my cart before checkout:

Qty - Part
1 - Passenger side fog light cover (comes with screw and clip): MR296098
1 - Interior cargo cover (the picture I have shows it comes with the cords): MR729565
2 - Push tabs that hold cords for cargo cover to hatch panels (you need 2): MR189485
2 - (9) Support Support Back
2 - (10) Damper Damper Back

Thanks again.

Actually, MR729565 comes with (9) Support Support Back and (10) Damper Damper Back.

So your cart should be:
1 - Passenger side fog light cover (comes with screw and clip): MR296098
1 - Interior cargo cover (the picture I have shows it comes with the cords): MR729565
2 - Push tabs that hold cords for cargo cover to hatch panels: MR189485

Sorry if I confused you there.

Can anyone tell me the part number for the fog light bezels on a 2gb?

If you don't know what I am talking about here's a pic:

It's the thing that goes around the foglight. Looks like a holder.

At the least could I get a 97-99 vin number to go to the deal with?

Thanks guys. :thumb:

Sorry to bring this one back but does anyone know why there's a difference in mounting between bezels. The ones pictured in post #6 have the bolt go through the middle and the ones pictured on the red car in post #12 have the bolt hole on the far right. I have a reproduction front bumper and the only place for a bolt is through the middle like the bezels in post #6. I almost ordered the other ones off ebay but my dad had some non foglight bezels and they fit thankfully. I just wanted to post this to warn anyone wanting to buy some bezels.
