Far simpler than i couldve imagined.....I expected along procedure but did a talon to eclipse and eclipse to talong conversion both perfect and ready to be drivin in under 2 hours and looks absolutely great..anyone thinking bout this...go for it ....its cheap and easy and looks tight...

I still don't understand why anyone would want to convert a talon over to an eclipse

it's like converting an integra and a civic (i know...bad analogies)

Talons are way better ;) LOL

Amen, I don't know why everybody wants to look like everybody else instead of being a little different. If I had an eclipse, I'd convert it to a Talon. Just so it wasn't like everybody else. What happened to creativity and originality?

where did you find the parts? I'm looking to get some parts for my 92 talon...

yea i dont get it...are you ashamed of your car and want to make it look like something else or what? i dont get it.. it makes my head hurt OMG

if you dont like what your car is and are willing to spend money to make it look like something it isnt, WHY NOT SAVE THE MONEY AND BUY THE CAR YOU WANNA CONVERT IT TOO?

unless your doing this cuz your an adventurer and just wanna see if you can do it?

That's a valid point, I'd make the Talon lights fit though. I really can't stand the eclipse lights. Look like they're straight out of the '80's baby yeah.....

The Civic/Teg thing doesn't really work since they're a completely different body/interior/most drivetrain, etc... completely different cars actually. Parts are swappable, but not the same.

Frankly, before I bought my car, I was looking for an eclipse. But around here, those are hard to come by. If you do find one, you'll pay a hefty price to get it, and more than likely it had the crap beat out of it. When I bought my Talon, I was more or less settling, but after I had it a week, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Talons are all over the place here though, and I wouldn't mind switching the rear bumper with an eclipse so I can put some altezzas on it. But the rest of the car would stay the same.
