Hey guys last summer I bought a newly painted white 97 GSX. By October the back bumper area around the muffler started to become stained black like I see on all the hondas. I have 3" turbo back, intake, 14b swap but nutin I'd figure would make it smoke to cause that? I hooked up my scanner and it read I had 5 hits on "O2 sensor failure". Is that the problem? Because unfortunately I got rear ended last week and I am having the rear bumper replaced and repainted and I want to avoid that smoke at ALL COSTS:notgood: I am having the sensor changed once I get it back, will that take care of it? Help me keep my car white:rocks:

I'd make sure the exhaust was long enough to exit the bumper completely. But having a bad o2 sensor would make you run really rich, and would cause black smoke.

I also have a white 2g, and all i can say is, shoot some windex on it once a week and it should clear it up. That or Clear coat body scrub.
