Im sure theres already a post about this but will someone show me some about how to install new headlights because i couldnt find anything

Follow this tech article to take your bumper off (it does't matter if you have a 2Ga or 2Gb bumper, they're fastened to the chassis the same; and yes, you have to take your bumper off). After you've done that, the four bolts (two on the top, one on the front, and one under the harnesses) will become apparent.

BTW you dont have to take the bumper off. I did it with out going under the light too like in the link.
Take off the fogs, youll notice there is a metal plate that can be removed. Take it off and look up into the hole, youll see the lower bolt. You can use extentions on a ratchet to take it out. You can't get your hands up there so it wont be easy.

Oh, and to fix the problem of screwing the lower bolt back in, i took a swiss file and filed the threads out of the lower nut. I then put a fender clip on the plastic lower bolt hole flange on the headlight. By doing this it relocates the nut to the other side. Thus allowing every bolt then to be accessed easly. Problem solved. It now takes less than 5 min to take out my headlight and is in my opionion easer than changing the bulbs.

I was able to install my headlights without taking the bumper off, but I don't recommend it. It only took me about two days to do.

BTW you dont have to take the bumper off.

Good luck doing it that way. MrBoxx said it, just spend the extra 15 minutes taking the bumper off rather than trying to remove the headlights for an hour with it on.

Only reason to take your bumper off is if you don't want to pry a socket extension between the headlight & the bumper. After you remove the two bolts that are on the outside corner of the headlight (Almost underneath the adjustment knob..feel around for them), and one right on top of the headlight, just pull as hard as you can..it'll break the bracket holding the very bottom bolt. The headlight will be fine with the remaining 3 bolts holding it, I've never noticed my headlights jumping around while driving afterwards, as well as many other people on here who've done the same thing. Also it'll be a lot faster if you have to take the headlights out in the future.

After you get the headlight out, just disconnect all the harnesses connected to the bulbs & that's it. Just put the new headlights into the holes, attach the harnesses, & put the remaining 3 bolts in (Or 4 if you decide to use the bottom bolt..good luck getting it back on though, without taking the bumper off).

it took me about 2 hours to get them out the first time with the no bumper removal method

Actually, I just slid a Sawzall blade between the headlight and the bumper and sawed off the plastic bracket on the bottom of the old headlight. I used my fingers to push and pull the blade back and forth. It took forever, but it worked. When I installed the new ones, I left the bottom bracket on them, but never put a bolt in them. Now if I ever want to take them out, I can just undo the three top bolts and maneuver them out the way I put them in.

I thought about doing that, but i wanted it to be held on the best it could be and the lower blot does change the angle of the lights too.

Its The Easiest To Just Get A 14" 1/2 Inch Extension And A 13?? Swivel Socket And Not Pull Off The Bumper (if Doing This For The First Time, It Leaves Alot Of Chances To Break S***t). The First Time I Did This Without Pulling The Bumper, Both Old Ones Were Out And The New Ones In, Including Wiring Up The Halo's, In About An Hour And A Half.

hey i been trying to get the headlights out but was'nt possible and i dont have the right tools to get the las bolt ( without taking off the bumper ) so i kind give up and i may take to the shop so they do it for me ... i dont know what else to do ...

oh and one question : so we dont need to put back on the bolt number 4 ( the hard one to get ) .. ?

No, you don't absolutely need to put that last bolt in. I didn't, and my headlights are aligned just fine without it.

If you want to try my method of getting the last bolt, get a Sawzall blade and stick it between the bottom of the headlight housing and the bumper. You can see the plastic bracket in the crack. It should be gray plastic. If you're somewhat patient, you can use the blade to cut throught the bracket, remove the headlight, then remove that last bolt after the headlight is out. It takes a bit of creative manuevering to get the headlight out, but you can do it. I think Sawzall blades are sold individually for pretty cheap, so you might save yourself some money by trying it first before taking it to a shop.

Probably better that way. I know you dont need those bolts to hold it on, but they were put there at the factory and I preferre not to hack chit away that was there when I started.

I can pull my bumper in under 20 minutes and I don't have to risk damage to the bumper or do any cutting or prying on any hidden bolts and brackets. This is the way your bumper is installed and removed by the factory so why not do the same?

hey if you still have that bumper off, would you be able to take a quick shot of where the bumper actually bolts up to the frame, I looked eariler, but I couldnt seem to figure it out.

This large square hole is where the two struts (that come off the bumper center support)slide into the vehicle frame.

The bolts that hold them in are 14mm (two on each side). In this picture you can see the two on the driver's side. This shot was taken looking straight up from the garage floor at the bolts.

Once you get the head light out and if you are ready to put the new head light back in I had four wires coming from my after market lights as aposed to the 3 in the stock headlights just sotter the two blacks together it might be simple but it was aparentley to difficult for a body shop to figure out.
