What options do you have with the bomex style rear bumper. I personally think it look tacky with just the exhaust coming out of one side when there is two holes. Show me what you got

Thanks

Maybe it looks tacky because the entire rear end of the bomex kit is just plain tacky. Go with a different rear if you are wanting the bomex kit stick with the front but the rear is just gross. My opinion entirely, you either have to go duals which people will make fun of you for or singles and deal with it. Or you could hack the kit to make it look original

i like the "dual outlet" look on cars that have the proper kit on them. if the bumper has two outlets, see if they are big enough to fit two 2.5" tips in each one. if the bumper is curved at all what you should do is stagger the exhaust tips a little bit to go with the conture of the bumper.

I do not suggest getting dual melon launchers. If you have a single bank, you should put a single exhaust on it. Anything more than that is tacky. I agree with the above, the rear bumper itself is tacky. I actually like the blitz rear end, it almost looks stock with just a lip on it.

i suggest getting something w/out dual openings for the exhaust. dual exhuast on a 4 banger is not my cup of tea

with my option, you would have to get something custom made. if you have a 3" exhaust the split them into a 3" tee and then downsize to 2.5" and go both ways towards the outlet. mount a 2.5" muffler on both sides of the tee. then get two 2.5" dual outlet tips and have them mounted up. if you have a 2.5" exhaust, just keep it all 2.5".

Here's some tips:

they are slant cut, and have resonators on the inside to get rid of any "weee" in the exhaust

2.5" mufflers:

the are very low profile and they have been proven to sound great on small motors.

another option is to use a crossflow muffler mounter transversly behind the rear axle.

3" inlet/dual 2.5" outlet crossflow muffler:

any way you go, if you decide to have dual outlets, you are gonna have to go to an exhaust shop to have it done.

This is not an ideal solution but you can always put a dummy muffler on the one side...personaly that is not my cup of tea, but hey it works for some.

I found this, but I think that im going to choose a different rear bumper tho
