Question About painting the car

Hey guys, i really want to repaint my car,but i don't know what to do ,i went to local bodyshop they looked at the car and they told me that its gonna be 3800$ to repaint whole car,and 3200$ to repaint just outside surface, so is there any other ways that could i do much cheapier or thats what it costs??? Thanks

$3800 sounds about right for a quality paint job. If you could do it yourself, it'll cost about $500 in supplies (less the cost of compressor, paint gun, etc..... that'd just be for the paint)

Check Maaco. Yea, they give some shitty paint jobs, but ask them about their guarantee... some shops with guarantee their work for x amount of time and I've seen some quality jobs from them. Call around to other shops too.

Did that cost include body work or was it just stripping and painting?

no Body work included ,cause i got no dents or scraches on my body,it needs to be stripped and panted thats it
