Sunroof problem...

I was going out to close my sunroof and it wouldnt close. It would start and have like 3 inches left to go and then just turn back... anyone else ever have this problem??? If so how do YOu fix it?

hey i'm havin a similar prob to you i put my sun roof up and i heard a snap sound now it goes across fine but as soon as it goes down 1/4" it stops and goes all the way back and i cant figure out how to fix it. any ideas...

I had the same problem, mainly on hot days (Of course). I found that if I push the button a little harder than normal, it will close fine.

I found that if I push the button a little harder than normal, it will close fine.

And pressing the elevator button makes it get to your floor faster.

The plastic guides wear out when they're not lubricated.

The switches do wear out too. I replaced my switch and the problem went away.

hey thanks for the link defiant i had to completly dissasemble my sunroof to put a pin back in its slot but now it works thanks a bunch
