The carbon fiber tails came in today, so i installed them. Everything bolted up perfect, except for the fact that the turn signals on the eclipse are on the outer part of the taillight whereas the talon's turn signal is on top. I have to go to Home Depot to get the same guage wire and extend the turn signal socket to reach the outer socket (where it is supposed to go). The kit is for 90-94 Eclipse, so i figured the wiring would be the same, but it's not. If any of you with talons want to pick up a pair, you'll have to do some wire extensions to get the lights to function properly. They work, just need to get everything where it's supposed to be because of the differences of the Eclipse and the Talon rear-ends.

Ok, now onto some pics. I'll have better ones later this week when I wash my car.

Very nice man, tastefully done as is to be expected from you by now.

I am also going to suggest painting the center section to match the car.

I must admit... they look better than I thought they would. Still not my style though. The center section definately needs painted. Good luck.

Survey says to paint the center piece...

That would have been next, though i need to find out what the paint code is. Thanks for the compliments everyone.

The Dupont paint code for your car is B9134 i do belive. Unless your car isnt Banzai Blue Metallic. But if it is, thats the paint code. Or you can just bring it to a body shop and have them find it on the sticker in your door jamb. Hope that helps. Lights look good BTW

Talonblingbling.............That looks sweet! I figured that it would. My car is dark maroon and I am going to get them too!! They look a lot more sophisticated than chrome altezza's will I am sure.

:dsm: I think you should paint the center piece black. or paint it this dark/grey black metallic color that is used on the new 2003 Saturn Vue's. It looks similiar to grey/black carbon fiber look. You would have to get the paint code from a Saturn dealer. (IMO) I would not paint the center body color, but only black or dark grey metallic.

I am interested to see it all completed and I am glad you told us about fixing that wiring. I won't be so frustrated now when I have to tackle that part of the project. I would like to know are they fitting snug???? and how hard was it to get the old ones out???

:dsm: 98Silver_GS it looks good all blue. TalonBlingBling:thumb: if you paint your tailight middle section blue........it will look good. I am going to paint mine black. It does look good in blue though.

Thought I would let people know that the wiring and placement of the turn signals are different :)

I'm gonna paint the center section and around the license plate with some tint spray. I think it'll look good with the cf theme i've got going on. If I don't like it, I can always sand it off and repaint it blue.

98_silvergs, that looks sweet! :thumb:
