hey,

I've been having tons of fun tonight.... I just bought today the memphis m3class 6x9 speakers... i take off the panels to find that theyre only using 6.5's.... (the reason why i got 6x9s is cuz the ppl at the store said thats what fit... NOW I KNOW OTHERS HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BEFORE.... I am way too stubborn to take them back and want the bigger speaker (since i know it can fit)

so if anyone has gone through this, please PLEASE help me out in any way possible!

pictures tutorials, WHATEVER, I'd love to see it

im kinda afraid of cutting into whats there already just because I can't go back.... is there any alternative

now i get the understanding the 2g eclipse sypders had actual 6x9s in it... could i rob parts from one of those (without changing the location of the speaker and panels)???

PLEASE HELP

There are threads on here if you search about this - the solution seems to be using a rubber mallot to bang in the fender well just enough to make the magnet fit, and you won't be able to notice the dent. Hope this helps.
