2ga Talon to 2gb Eclipse. I got the front and rear off, got the front fogs installed, all my stock stuff listed in the classfieds etc. I get the rear off and i unplug this white connector and pull the tails off. Now is this the harness i need to figure out what the reverse lights are or am i looking in the wrong place??

I've searched, but all i found was 95 eclipse to 97+ eclipse converson. If you know of where and things point me in the right direction kindly. Thanks in advance..

hope this helps but look where the old reverse bulbs where then splice longer wires into the so it will be long enough for the stock eclipse spot. if you don't remember which bulb socket go where put bulbs in them and have a friend put it in reverse and mark them with tape so you wont forget again how that helps. need any more info you can pm me I've done the conversion before :thumb:

Cool Thanks :thumb: I get my new tails tomorow out of a 99 eclipse, so that should work ill do that , and take a picture for future talon converson-ers that will need the info, Im going to try and log the converson and get pictures uploaded for that. thanks again, and will post back when the new tails are in :dsm:

grrr ran into another problem. The licence plate lights, theres a bracket i need? I have the square nuts inside the bumper on from the talon part.. Call satan or what??

yeah that would probably be your best bet i think i found one at autozone that worked with a little messing around with but if i did it again i would just go with dealership :dsm:

You should of just bought a nice lip instead of spending the cash on all the 2GB parts :nono:

Why? So he could make his car how you like it instead of how he likes it? He didn't ask if you thought what he was doing was nice or not so don't give that kind of reply. Answer his question or don't comment at all.

Back on topic...for license plate lights I actually just wired in a few autozone led lights to light it up. Two packs or 2 worked great and i just glue a piece of metal into that square hole to slide them in and they had a nut on the back to hold them on. :thumb:

I was stumped at this part, too. As a temporary fix, I used 3M double sided mounting tape, and taped those suckers up inside the bumper so the shine down on the plate. Haven't come loose in 5+ months.

i was going to use the double sided tape, but found the braket at the dealer, $13 bucks, no biggy. Now i just have to wait for it to come in ROFL
