Toronto,
Hay guys, got my car about 2 month ago with some ugly looking aftermarket front bumper on my 97GSX. Since I love the look of the stock one with large FMIC I decided to buy one. I got the bumper cover but what my mechanic told me that I suppose to have some sort of bedded pipe right on top of the radiator about miter long to hold the bumper in place and to prevent it from haggling down with holes under the headlights. I do not have such a part. Is that something that I really need in order to install stock front number? Is there anything else I need to do it? What I have right now is basically that aftermarket bumper hodling on 6 screws at the top and nothing supporting t on the bottom so it just hangs there. I dont want to have that with the new one. Any suggestions on what I need to do in order to install it properly? I am also putting 30 FMIC when installing the bumper.
PS: I dont want to get anything from the dealer since u knows how much they charge for everything.
