Talesin said:Meh, I'm going to be getting a Drift kit (found someone who makes 'em for the '90-91 model years) because my front bumper is cracked to crap already, and Satan wants $250 for a new stocker. The Drift bumper is only $220, and looks pretty decent, of the ones available.
Hey, at least he isn't going for the 'invader' front bumper.
pr0 said:Body kits in general are a waste of time and money. Think of the money you will be spending:
Body kit $600+
Paint $600+
Body work $300
$1500+. That's a lot of money just for some plastic. Not to mention most of the body kits are fiberglass and break so easily. My friends integra has rock chips on his bumper and its cracking like crazy just from daily driving, my factory one is 95% spotless.
ninjai_ruken said:hmmm I do all my body work myself. And 600$ for a body kit is just plane stupid. I would buy the front maybe to some perfomance mods then but the sides...stuff like that. And for poeple out there. Maybe the guys who like body kits think performance is a waste of time. Maybe they like there cars the way they are performance wise and want to change the look at little bit. You need to look at it from both points of views before you say its a waste. My car was show for a long time and I never raced I picked up more chicks in my car that way then after I modifed my motor. When people ask you to race you just say "I have nothing to prove to you!" in the most dick headed tone you can..people will leave you alone

pr0 said:haha I totally agree although its mainly personal preference. I think body kits look retarded... but that's just me.
Its a good thing that you do all the body work yourself though, save a lot of money. It costed me 300 bucks just to get my door handles painted to match the exterior.
