Ok, well I was fixing my drivers side door handle and I put masking tape around the handle so I wouldnt scratch the car. Well, I didnt take the tape off when I was done working on it so I left it on for like a week, now when I try to take the tape off, all the sticky stuff is stuck on the door. It will not come off! Is there something I can use to make it come off without messing up my paint? Thanks!

They are obviously powerful solvents that can remove more than just that sticky residue. Lacquer Thinner (i.e. Toluene) from Autozone, or Discount often works best. It removes most glue residues, rubber scuffs, and even paint from other cars after minor collisions. The guys I work with at the body shop swear by the stuff.
