ermoval of factory spoiler

I need some advice on how to remove the factory wrap around spoiler from my 1g dsm. Can anyone tell me how to begin this process?

Take your interior trunk plastics out. And start taking the bolts out for the spoiler. Then pop it off.

How would a 1G DSM go about installing a wraparound wing onto their currently wingless 1G DSM? Thanks, Jake.

get the wing. then take some kind of ink, marker, chalk or whatever and put it on the holes on the wing where the screw go. then put it in position PERFECTLY. take it off and there should be marks where the screws would go. remove the lining of your trunk and then drill the holes. i'm not sure what size the holes should be, but just get a bit and match it with the holes on the wing.

i've never done this, but i plan to and i think this would be the best way.

Blue I think your car will look dope with it gone I never liked the wrap arounds on the 1G's what do you plan to do with it once it's removed?

echo, that's the right way. i had to do that when i was puitting my wing on my old car. it was pretty tough but that's the way i did it

Oo, would that fit? It'd be trick if it would, but I've never seen one done that way. The 1G wings are 2-piece, fender and hatch.

Is there anybody that has first-hand knowledge installing the 3-piece wing onto a 1G DSM that has previously had no wing? I am going to purchase one if I can get an idea how to install it without heavy complications. Thanks, Jake.
