I was just wondering if it's possible to do the HID conversion to the stock 97+ Headlights. If so does anyone have any pictures or maybe a write up? I have the write up on how to do it with the Projector Headlights, but i don't wanna spend 130 dollars to get projectors when I can get a spare set of headlights for less than half the price and do the work at home. Thanks

Hey, no disrespect, but i have done a search already. i have the material i need printed out. The only thing is, reading through the stuff, some people have said it is possible to put projectors into the stock headlight housing, while others have said it isn't.

All the write ups are usually about buying aftermarket headlights with projectors, switching the projectors with higher quality ones, and then doing the HID bulb, wiring splicing, etc. etc.

I just wanna know can i skip the first step and put high quality projectors into my stock Headlight Housing, and if anyone has done a write up on that topic.

Thanks for the help though.

Very nice one too! I just ordered my Hell Projectors with everything and getting my Philips 6000K HID bulbs soon to. The only difference is that i have halogen projector aftermarket headlights so it will fit very nicely and have a nice look BUT HID blue/bright :)

Good catch Prodigyman, I was going to mention that I had seen it done in stock headlamps here. It can be done, although I guess the appearance of the final product is something of a personal opinion. Considering the reflector style lighting is not at all like a projector, unless you get crafty you end up with a projector just kind of hanging out in the headlight.

Gonna take out stock halogen projector and replace it with Hella projectors
And then bought this HID kit (best u can get component wise)

And still looking for those damn expensive but amazing Philips 6000K Uniton HID bulbs

That's a nice set of components, especially the ECE spec projectors. I love the ECE cutofff. And at 150 a bulb for the Ultinon 6000K, I just hope I don't have one go out on me anytime soon. But you can't argue with they way they look either. :thumb:
