I know that you guys say "with enough money, anything is possible." but I wanted to know how difficult/costly it would be to modify the stillen bumper to remove the sloping sides. I know that with fiberglass it's more straightfoward since this is eurathane, but would it be possible/feasible? Or would working with eurathane to this degree be too costly to make it worth it?

fiberglassing on urethane in my experience doesnt work out very well. im sure there is some way that this could be done, but it would probably be pretty expensive. just talk to someone that does a lot of custom bodywork and see what they think.

I believe there are special fillers and products to use on urethane and even using plastic welders and special epoxys. It could be done but I'd go to a body shop and ask them about it if I were you.

My Stillen front cracked on the one side near the headlight where the hood meets and it bolts onto the car. It's kind of a pain being urethane because if it was fiberglass I would have fixed it by now but I don't know how to fix the urethane so I have to wait til I have the cash for a body shop to do it :|

They make plastic welders that work similar to a typical welder, and you use plastic rods to fill in the gap between two pieces (or a crack) and then sand it down and do your body work like normal. I have no idea about the quality of this one, but this should give you some idea of what they look like and how they work (using super heated air rather than gas like a precision heat gun):

Nice PS work. Working with urethane is possible, just not nearly as common and you may be hard pressed to find someone who is very experienced with it.

I did a PS of the Stillen a while back and was considering removing the center section. Here, I'll combine our two evils into the cleanest looking Stillen ever, HAHAHA (evil laugh).

The main reason I like the stillen so much, is that it extends the front end of the car a bit... providing more clearance for the intercooler, and giving it a slightly more aggressive stance. Anyone else wanna do a group buy thing with me? I think we need to get a group buy in order to have that body kit site make this front end (makemykit.com or something like that). I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who likes this. :thumb:

I would, but I'm not sure if we can post that stuff here. PM a mod and see about starting a Stillen group buy thread.

The Stillen front reminds me of a pissed off fish for some reason.

I'm not sure if you mean that as a good thing, but I think with the middle raised section taken out, it looks mean as hell, like the 2GB, or even the 99 VR4.
Enjoy this pic (I wish they had this as a bodykit):

Well, I didn't mean start one here, I meant start on on makemykit.com.

What are the requirements? What are the materials? Can they do custom work like the ideas in this thread?
