the only car that has been able to use that hood and still look good IMO was an M3 I saw.

Thats a ram air 2. I don't know about them being on Honda's but the're real popular on Firebirds, I was planning on getting one when I had an 86 Firebird. I've never seen em for an Eclipse. http://www.ramairhood.com/ram_air_hoods.htm that shows em for domestics and dodge trucks.

Good luck finding one. And if you do, make sure that if you have nitrous you put blow off valves in the nostrils, that is by far the coolest thing ever.

dont know about them on hondas? the picture is of 4 honda vehicles with the hood. they are very popular among the honda crowd.

They started on the Formula Firebirds, I think a step-down from the Trans-Am. In the original design, it turned out that over 35 miles an hour the front bumper threw the air up hard enough that none went into the nostrils. Skipped right over the tops of them.

i like them on firebirds/hawks, but dont think it would flow very will with the 2g body line, due to its sharper edges and more agressive frontal angle on the opening.

I don't know about em on Hondas means just that, I've never seen em hondas.

Ohhh, the nostrils come down about another inch, big difference there between the ram air and the black widow, so sorry.

And laugh if you will, Having the nitrous blow off through the nostrils looks bad ass on the firebirds.

As was I. I never said if they would look good on a DSM, but I bet the purge through the nostrils would look about as good as the hood would on a DSM.

actually the car I see it on the most is the Integra, but I do like the hood and im sorry you all dont haha. But so far every aftermarket hood ive seen ona 2g eclipse looks like crap or just like the stock one, how exciting :-/
