i have a 96 eclipse non turbo and i have recntly bought an auto meter tach with shift light, iam having a problem installen it i seem not able to find were to hook up the wires so that both the stock rpm gauge and the auto meter gauge read the same rpm so if anyone could help me please thanks :thumb: :dsm:

I have the same problem with my 95 GS no matter where I hook it it reads half.

Cam angle sensor wont work because the sensor reads 1 for every 2 revs since the cam moves 1 ever 2 revs.

The coil is split the 1 and 3 fire then the 2 and 4 fire so theres 2 wires I can get half the signal from.

Supposedly theres a ignition signal wire on the ECU but in my car the ECU is out under the hood and the wire colors do not match anything anyone has suggested. Its an aftermarket ECU that was on the car before I got it.

My engine is the 420A N/T
