Hello i just put in Corbeau Cr-1 racing seats into my eclipse (95) using the brackets they gave me. The passenger side went in under 20 min i mean it was a breeze. However, the driver side was total bull sh!t. the bracket didn't even line up right. I had to drill 4 new holes and elongate all the holes that are supposed to bolt the bracket to the frame. Then the seat sat over too far and the door wouldn't close cuz the seat was in the way and the driver wouldn't sit centered with the steering wheel. In all puttin in both seats took 4 1/2 hours. so if you are decent at math you can guess how long it took me to do the drivers side. However after all the horse sh!t i went through to put these in i am impressed. I love the seats. The color matches perfectly, perfect hight, and hug my butt sooo perfectly.

I'm basically asking if anyone else has had problems like this with racing seats or if its just corbeaus and if they have had problems what it was and how they fixed it. Mostly so i dont feel like a complete idiot for taking 4 hours to put a seat in.

No its no the company, its the way are seating brackets are lined up. If you notice the stock seat brackets are staggered and is very specific. The bracket must line up exactly to that specification otherwise it wont fit. I had the same exactly problems with my seat when i got them and it took almost 3 hours to finally get them in (and on top of that they wouldn't slide). There is a website that has eclipse slider brackets for any racing seat brackets ( http://www.mmrusa.com/seatbrackimports.htm) They run about $120 plus shipping but more than likely, its what your looking for.
