i'm thinking about pulling off the "fade" sticker on my 2 tone blue/silver 1ga but would like to see some pics before I do it. Have any of you guys done this? Thanks :)

Damn, now I'm missing my old black/silver 1ga again!

Actually, on topic, depending on how old your paint is, removing the fade stripe may well reveal darker paint underneath it, since the rest of the car might be UV faded while the stripe might have blocked a lot of the UV. If you are going to do it, I'd test it on an inconspicuous spot before you commit yourself.

If you do it though, it looks great IMO.

check my gallery, it wouldnt let me upload mine here, said some kind of error or something...

damn dude your silver strip got fat as hell! JK that looks pretty pimp, I like

thannks for the pics guys and good tip on the paint possibly being faded, it's just that my sticker is a little torn in a few places and it's driving me crazy. Any more pics?

thanks,
ya, it did get pretty fat, it was supposed to be like stock, but the guy must've misunderstood, and painted it up there on the middle, but it kinda grows on you tho, its the same height as the bumbers and stuff, so it matches pretty well i guess

It matches, but the guy that painted it would have gotten smacked if it was mine.
*Note to self, be VERY specific when telling people what to paint...*

IT might sound dumb, but to be truthful, I didnt really notice it at first...LOL...till i was looking at pics of it b4, and I was like WTF??? but, i didnt explain how i wanted it, my dad did, i told him what colors, (same as b4) and he took it to the guy...and if idve smacked him, id prolly had to pay for labor costs (dads friend owns the shop)

well it looks good though so you're straight :D :thumb:
