yeah..you should never use FG to make a repair on out urethane. urethanes come in different formulas..usually they can easily be designated by color. to keep things newbie; black or yellow. the yellow is a PAIN. hard to work on. nothing wants to stick to it. and manufactures only have so much that promise to repair it...but i mean..you really gotta know what youre doing for it to work right. black is cake to work on. there are a million epoxies and pro body repair kits to choose from. guess which ones we have? yup...yellow.

that said. your best bet as a newbie (and if you've read this far interested in what im saying, you probably are, at least with body/bumper repair) id do like someone suggested and buy a new bumper. the aftermarket OEM bumper replicas arent that great, but cost effective. i'd recommend factory if you can stretch it. paying the $100-$300 is well worth it than trying to LEARN how to use the right materials and do a decent job on this yellow uurethane stuff...trust me. if you insist on attempting it, let me know and i can post what materials i'd recommend, and a run down on how to use it...

thanks for all the help. I am going to take it to a shop and see how much it comes out to. I really don't want a replica, as i think our stock bumper are pretty strong. The reason this one cracked is because i dropped in a hole, i constantly graze it when i turn into gas stations and it still durable.

Someone told me its around $200 to fix, if thats the case, i may just pay and have it done.

I see them on ebay all the time for cheaper than just fixing your old one.

fiberglassing on urethane is a pretty stupid idea. either take it to a shop and get it fixed right, or get another front bumper (either from another dsmer or junkyard if you can find one there) urethane is not easy to fix. atleast not like fiberglass bumpers are

Looks like a pretty good deal, I wonder if their replacements fit with no modification though.

To answer my own question I got in touch with the seller...they said that the parts they sell are aftermarket, not OEM. They are urethane, and the seller guarantees that they fit.

"guarantee" = "give me my money back if it doesn't"

but thank you for your incredibly useful and insightful commentary.
