OK, I just got a Pioneer P6700 CD Head unit and a Kenwood 920 Watt AMP. I put them both in myself and the head unit work's but the AMP will not turn on...I checked all the wires to make sure there all connected and that everything is ok, but the AMP wont work.. Has anybody had this problem and fixed it? If so let me know or should I take it back and get another one? Thank's for the help guys! :thumb:

P.s- I have 2 Sony Xplode Sub's that aren't installed yet. Could that be the problem? I have to wait untill tommrow to put them in because Im getting a sub box tommrow...Any help would be appreciated thank's!

remote turn on lead? make sure the lead is connected to the remote turn on lead on the head unit. regardless if the subs are hooked up, the amp should still light up to show that it has power.

I always make it a point to check the fuses on the amp itself, and on the power wire. ;)

Otherwise, the remote lead is the next culprit. It's hard to screw up a ground, but sometimes you have to sand down the surface to get a good contact.
