Chameleon painted hood .

Has anyone done this? A buddy of mine wants to do it to both of our cars? I own a white 97 eclipse... would this look good? its like a kit that you buy to paint your hood chameleon, just another option other than the whole cf look i guess....

it will look lame. Its a spray paint kit. It will look really cheap because its impossible to spray paint good on flat surfaces such as a hood and roof.

keep your hood how it is now.

i'd say stay away from it unless you get a professionaly done paint job at a reputable shop

I suggest having a shop do it, if you do it and you dislike the results, your screwed.

carbon fiber looks good on certain colors but i'd never own a whie car that i spent 800+ on to get the hood painted another color... your talking about having a white car and having the hood change from blue/green/purple... somethin like that... ### :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown

but see that's the problem, it wouldn't look like J-Lo's butt. And if it did you wouldn't be able to dirve the car caue too many guys would be humping it

wow ok, point well taken... but it is a perfessional doing the painting by the way, but i will take your advice and stay away from it.
