I've had a really rough 2 weeks

2 accidents in about 5 days

neither my fault, the first bastard doesn't have insurance, and I have to take him to court to get my money... it'll take months and months and months, he basically dragged his bumper from the rear qtr panel all the way till the front fender gauging the whole side

2nd one, i was coming to a stop at a redlight, and an LS430 plowed into the ass of my car, and sandwiched me into the car infront.. the guy infron and the guy in back are buddies, and the guy in front in makin up a story that he felt 2 hits, first a small one from me, and then a big one after, neither of us have solid proof, the lexus HAS to fix the rear of my car, but who's responsible for my front and the other guys back in undetermined, so that case is going to court as well :(

So basically, here's the damage report:

Front Bumper,
hood
headlights
drivers side fender (paint)
drivers side side skirt front and rear piece
drivers side door trim
drivers side mirror
drivers side rear Qtr Panel
Rear Bumper
Exhaust system

the chasis is bent as well.. the a/c Fan almost touches the turbo, and the rear undercarriage is bent up and the trunk isn't closing... but when i towed the car home, it still drove straight,

Interior is soo clean, and the engine puts 200psi out in ever cyl.. the car only has 40,000 miles on it

i have a Bullseye T3/T40b sitting in my room and a full DSMlink+ECU in the mail on the way... I really loved this car, and wanted to take it into the 11's or 12's

I live on the other end of the globe.. my car is import.. all body parts i'll have to order from the states...

What would u guys do, write off the car? or spend half of it's value in repairing and resurecting it?

basically I can either restore it to OEM, or Buy a full body kit, front back side skirts, CF Hood, CF mirrors and get another door... and full respray of the car.. OR just suck it up, bend over and take it.. and try to sell my parts at a loss and bye bye DSM OMG

Wow , I would be crying in the corner dude. Thats a rough week

I know what your going through. My daily driver 2003 VW beetle which I had only 6 months was rear ended buy a guy who rented a rental car. I called cops to take over the matter, then I was handed a paper to send for info about the accident. Well the guy was driving a rental car , plus no damage to the rental car. After I had gotten this info I contacted rental place. In PA you need proof of insurance to get a car but you don't need to purchase insurance to drive it. This rental car company Dollar Rent A Car really has no proof of insurance on this guy. They also won't fix my car. I've gone to the point where I've harassed rental cars insurance company...and told them I will not stop calling until my car is fixed. I have Erie insurance they've done nothing but the still get paid every month...they are assholes too. That is about as far as i got at the moment.
As far as your situation you will have spent more money trying to get your money...buy a baseball bat and go fix this guys car if you know where to find him....fair is fair in my book.. you fix your car he can go fix his. The legal system F**king SUCKS! and so does insurance, its all BS in my book. I now carry a baseball bat in my car..if you hit me you better have proof of insurance on the spot and I will know everything about you before you drive away. I've learned from my experience and I love building cars and spend thousands every year and to have someone ruin my things won't happen again.

I know it sucks, but I'd just sell it man...IMO its not worth spending all that money to fix it, and It will never be like it was before...Id say try and hang on to the motor if possible, and grab another DSM...if its possible. Good Luck. :thumb:

will the Ins company total your car? if so... buy it back and sell what you can, keeping the important things like the motor, etc. buy another DSM, sell that motor and put in your motor. i know you you said your on the other end of the world, and the parts/car need to be imported... but it may still be worth it. people are buying ALL SORTS of car parts on ebay. just my opinion, maybe it will work out for you.

either way, my condolences on your crappy week
OMG
