Carbon Fiber Cutting

What is the best tool for cutting a carbon fiber hood, without damaging it or the gelcoat? What are some of the methods you guys have tried?

Cutting carbon fiber destroys tools, thats another reason why carbon fiber parts cost more. Anyway, the only time I cut carbon fiber was with a pneumatic cut-off wheel at a low psi.

i cut my carbon hood with a dremel tool and a small sanding bit it worked pretty well...
