2 amps, witch one is more appropriate?

I have 2 amps now and I’m want to use one for my 3 way sound stream 160W door speakers and one for my 400W 10 inch Clarion sub (sealed).

I have the Clarion amp powering the sub right now, but I’m thinking the Alpine would give me better bass, but with the extra options, would it give me better front stage sound?

I’ve replaced the dash speakers with 3 ways as well, so I’m getting fairly good front stage sound as it is.

The expert series has quite a few more knobs and options then the Clarion does.
So would the Expert be better for the sub, or the doors?

the alpine is apparently a lot cleaner amp, .3%thd. i would run that on the doors.

The Clarion looks to be geared towards driving subs with its bass extender whereas with a full parametric EQ the Alpine can be tweaked for a nice sound out of a full-range speaker....
