I've read just about every post on lip polishing ...however, I have been working on the same wheel for about 2 hours and its not getting to have a mirror finish. Does the wheel polish make it better or should I stick with the 1000 grit paper... Will 2000 make that much difference?

Sorry for the tard question

It wont, unless you have some polish and an air tool to use as a polishing wheel. Hand sanding will take forever.

Use steel wool, not sand paper.
