quebec,
I am about to order DEFI BF  Gauges (Boost, EGT and the control Unit). I 'd like to know from ppl who have experience with these if any installation kit or other stuff is required or if the gauges come with everything needed to install them.

I already ordered a center vent gauge bezel from straightline specialties. Any info/help/tips on installation for this setup?

thanks!! :thumb:

No experience with the gauges very nice ones, but if you are spending that much money you should look at the Autometer Nexus series if I have money I am defiantly getting those ones, post some pics after the installation :thumb:

I have looked at the Autometer Nexus quite a bit... and in the end i just came to the conclusion that I didn't need 7 color choices and most of the features included in Nexus's...

Since I've already ordered the gauge bezel with 60 mm holes, I have to get 60 mm gauges -->DEFI

DEFIs are a great value (yea a$$load of money, but they're worth it) when it comes to accuracy, responsiveness and they have all the features I want, and none of the one I find useless in the Nexus Series... and they're less expensive ($215 DEFI BF Boost vs $290 NEXUS Boost)

I sure am gonna post pics when it's all done, but don't expect them too soon, maybe in 3-4 weeks... winter's here to stay  which means the GSX stays in the garage until mid-march... DAMN! Waiting 5 months to drive my car drives me insane

Well I am glad you made up your mind just saw the gauges and thought I share. Cheez you have a GSX and afraid of driving in snow :D I am Fwd and in Iowa and its my only car but if I had the choice my car would be in the garage too, but I dont and I just got my turbo in so I drive it as much as possible :D

remember I live in salt, calcium and sand land  a few weeks driving in such conditions simply destroy your car and eats the s**t out of everything. Those calcium lil rocks also destroys your paint in a blink of an eye... Geez I cry every time I hit a lil rock during sumer... Can't imagine in winter with all the calcium and sand

I didn't mention I live in pothole land as well... At least they repair the biggest ones once spring arrives...

Anyways... is there actually anyone on here with these gauges installed?

-Phil

I recently installed the DEFI BF System guages...I think they are awesome....Boost, fuel and oil...still using an autometer for EGT.

To answer your question, the gauges come with everything you need. I just had to purchase some extra wire for the system link II and two faced velcro...I installed under the dash.
