2G New idea w/ CF Hood

Well, I thought of doing something a little different with my next CF hood. I'm going to get an OEM one and have the edges painted (from the upper corners down to the inside of the headlights; leaving the majority of the center carbon fiber. I got it done in photoshop forum and wanted to know what you guys think?

I like it I'm thinking about doing that with an invader hood and painting the sides silver, everything except the vent part and back. I have seen a guy on here with a silver one do it like that but he had blue flames on it and it wasnt my taste. I wish I still had a black car even though it was slow and nt it was pretty :laugh:

The guy I bought my cf hood off of had that done, it was on a red talon. It looked sweet, I'm eventually going to do it as well.

I like it. I thought about doing something very similar to mine last year but never got around to it.

I didn't know it had been done on a DSM before. I'd really like to see a picture of a painted CF hood like this in real life. The chop is good but with the sun hitting it at that angle and all the glares I think it'll look a little different.

Go for it! I did something like that on mine last year and I get a lot of complements on it. It is something different than another carbon hood.

id love to see a PS of a red car with that done to it. black on black, you cant really get a good idea of what it looks like. if and when i get a cf hood, that is something i may look into. it looks great.
